More information: Multicultural Mental Health Australia is the national program focusing on multicultural mental health and suicide prevention, funded under the National Mental Health Strategy and National Suicide Prevention Strategy by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing. MMHA provides national leadership in mental health and suicide prevention for Australians from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds and works to promote better mental health and well-being for a diverse community.
Vicki Katsifis is the Project Officer (Carers and Consumers) and is primarily responsible for project managing the Carer and Consumer Program Area of MMHA which includes coordination of both the National CALD Carer and Consumer Reference Groups, the National CALD Speakers Bureau and management of various CALD consumer and carer projects and activities.
